Carl Zeiss Vision

Darryl Meister is the Technical Marketing Manager for Carl Zeiss Vision, a leading manufacturer of optical lenses and coatings. Mr. Meister has been an active member of the Optical Industry since 1990, and was one of the youngest opticians ever to earn the ABO's Master certification. He has been a key contributor to many important industry initiatives, including the VCA's Lens Description Standard and ANSI's Z80.1 Standards. His articles have been published in magazines and trade publications such as Duane's Ophthalmology, Optical World, Clinical and Experimental Optometry, and Refractive Eyecare Management, and he has lectured for organizations such as the Opticians Association of America, the Meredith Morgan Symposium at Berkeley's School of Optometry, and the Contact Lens Society of Ophthalmologists.
